Stefano Bellopede

Responsible for school and instructors, Kitesurf instructor

My first encounter with kitesurfing was back in 2001 in Brazil when I was thunderstruck. From that moment on, all the decisions that I have made in my life have had everything to do with this wonderful sport. Today, after years of teaching, I manage the school Point Break along with this great team of instructors to give the best possible service to our customers.

kitesurf and sup instructor

I’ve been kitesurfing since 2003 and I have thought about becoming an instructor since 2008, one reason, to follow a dream and the second, to see the world. So I did: from Italy to Mexico, from Venezuela to Australia and New Zealand. I try to convey passion and responsibility, with all the irony and professionalism you need.

Fuerteventura is undoubtedly one of the best places in the world to learn kitesurfing.

The beauty of its spots like Lobos or the lagoons of Cotillo, are the endless golden beaches, crystal clear water and the wind island, which together, make this magical place perfect for sport lovers, which every year come to the island from all over the world .

The north of Fuerteventura is a playground for surfers, a succession of spots behind each other. From the beaches of ‘moro’ and ‘burro’, to the 4 beaches of Cotillo through the rocks of the north coast and citizen spots including the mythical island of Lobos where we find the longest and most poppular right coast in Europe.

Fuerteventura is considered by many experts the windsurfing capital of Europe. The world championships make a stop here, on the fantastic beach boat Sotavento in the south to be exact. Fuerteventura is full of nice places to windsurf, from the coast calm lagoons of Cotillo, passing Flag Beach. Plus the various citizens of Corralejo often enjoy the bay of Waikiki.

In addition to classes, we organize boat trips in the beautiful island of Lobos (Parque Natural de las Dunas de Corralejo and Isla de Lobos) where you can discover the secrets of the volcanic island, ride the Europe’s longest right wave and enjoy your lunch at the edge of a wonderful catamaran.
